Playing in the Backyard

Since the weather has been so great we have been spending alot time in the backyard with Connor. And he seems to really prefer it that way. He actually pitches the largest fit now when he sees we are going back into the house. (and yes, that is as much fun to us as it sounds). Here are just a few pictures of Connor in the backyard playing with the Mom, Dad and the dogs.


The purple toy that Connor is carrying around is actually Jack's toy. But have no fear it was washed well before we allowed Connor to carry it around.

There is a very large planter on our back porch that was left there by the previous owners. We personally are not fans of it since we dont plant anything, but it was never anything worth taking the time to get rid of.....till now. Connor decided that he now really enjoys playing in it. Which is fine with us since we are ok with the fact that little boys love to play in dirt. What we are not too ok with is Connor's insistance of putting EVERYTHING in his mouth! Dirt, Sticks & Leaves from the planter included. So after Connor shoved a large handful of dirt in his mouth Dave decided to fill his empty coke can with water and let Connor wash the dirt down that way. (after we confirmed there were no choking hazards in the mouth). Below are some comical pictures of Connor learning to drink out of a coke can so that he wont be eating dirt all night. And before anything is said.....I started taking pictures AFTER the choking hazard situation was resolved and the water was already flowing.
