I can not believe how fast time is flying. I know I say that just about every month but I still can't believe it! Preston is getting bigger and bigger and yet he is starting to lean out some too. This month Preston started learning to master another skill. He loves to STAND! He loves to stand and reach for toys and he is even trying to walk. It is so hard for a parent to watch their kid learn to stand and walk. The kid is so incredibly frustrated that they can not do what they want to and there is nothing you can do as a parent to really help them out other than give support (physically) and encouragment. Preston is pretty mobile now. He can get just about anywhere he needs to go or wants to go. Luckily our house is pretty well baby-proofed due to Connor.
Speaking of Connor, he is Preston's idol and best friend. Preston watches him very closely and immitates him. It was really cute until Connor taught him to spit food. (Not cool!) But Connor and Preston are constantly together and giving each other hugs. It just melts my heart to see them so close and being such good friends already.
Preston is still not sleeping through the night consistently yet. He will do it randomly but his typical schedule is.....
- Fall alseep on Mom while eating at 7:30pm-ish
- Wake up at 3:30am for another feeding which last about 20-30 minutes then back asleep. Luckily since Preston is formula only now, Dave and I can take turns on this feeding.
- Wake up at 7:00am for another feeding and start of the day.
And yes, we have tried keeping him up late (till 11pm even!) and putting him to bed on a full stomach. It does not work yet.
His last big accomplishment of this month is his new way of talking. Preston is a talker and loves to interact with anyone and is full of his own babbling words! He is so cute and is so full of information! I love listening to Connor and Preston have conversations in their own little languauge. I just wish I knew what they were saying.

The Art of Lawn Mowing
Here are some pictures I took of Connor and Dave mowing the lawn. As you can see Connor is Dave's little clone and wants to do EVERYTHING that Daddy does. It just makes my heart sing with joy when I watch scenes like this in my house.

Preston and Annie
Here are some cute pictures of Preston hanging out with Annie. She is such a great dog and really loves being with the boys outside. She will just lay next to them and watch over them while they are in the yard.

Playing at Miller Motorsports
While Dave was attending a racing school at Miller Motorsports I took the kids out there to watch him ride. Connor LOVES watching Daddy ride and even cheers "YEAH DADDY!!" everytime he would see the green motorcycle ride by on the track. He was so adorable and everyone in the stands thought he was just too cute.
While we were there we let Connor ride around the pit area on his little motorcycle. It was amazing how many guys stopped me to say "Starting him early huh?" while just grinning ear to ear. It was as if they were actually proud of me for getting Connor on a bike so early.
The best part of our trip (according to me, not Dave) was the playground at the track. I took the boys in the stoller (past the Porsche racing, past the RC Car racing, and past the Kart racing) to the playground so they could burn some energy off and it worked great! Here are some cute pictures of the kids at the playground. Unfortunately since Dave was in his classroom alot, I did not get a picture of him and the boys on his bike in his racing leathers. (A first!) But I do promise to get that picture next time!

Helping Dad load the bikes
Connor wants to be like his Dad so badly that when Dave loaded up his racebike for his track day tomorrow, Connor made sure to load his racebike too. I love how little Connor's bike looks compared to Dave's but I know soon enough Connor is going to be on a bike that is just as large as Dave's.

Enjoying the Sunshining Weather
Some cute pictures of the boys playing in the front yard while enjoying some much needed sunshine. The winter weather here seems to be lingering well past the winter months so when the sun is shining, we are outside enjoying it.

Connor's New Vroom Vroom
Connor got a new motorcycle for his birthday. He LOVES the bike and rides it all over the driveway and neighborhood. But what I love most about it.....it wears him out and he is exhausted come bedtime.
Already stunting on his bike.
Now he walks up to Dave's bike and says "Daddy Vroom Vroom" and then walks up to Jacob's dirtbike and says "Jay Vroom Vroom" and then lastly walks up to his new motorcycle and says "My Vroom Vroom". And he makes sure that you acknowledge everything he is saying and what motorcycle belong to each person.

At the Park with Kennedy
After Connor's birthday party we took Kennedy and Connor to the park to play for a little while. Mostly to let Connor burn off some of the energy from such a fun birthday party. Kennedy and Connor are so cute playing together though so it was alot of fun for me to watch.

The Fire Station Birthday Party
Is he not the cutest little firefighter ever??
Connor's birthday party was at the Layton Fire Station in Ellison Park. The fire cheif and his family hosted Connor and a few of his friends for a very fun filled party.
Mmmmmmmm........Cake!!
Preston enjoying the party too!
The kids played "Pin the Badge on the Dog"
AND
Shot targets with water from the firehose
Toured the fire station and fire trucks
Tried on the fire fighters' gear including their helmet
Connor could not wear the helmet since it was so heavy, but Dad tried it on and looked great in it!
And lastly (and I think most awesomely) the kids and parents were taken on a ride in the firetruck! And since Connor was the birthday boy he got to ride up front and control the horn and sirens! He had so much fun and is still loving his "Eeoo Eeoo Eeoo" (that is the noise of the siren that Connor makes when he is talking about Firetrucks)
Connor also got to open his gifts at the firestation and he is the most spoiled child ever. My friends are the most generous people and really gave Connor some of the most wonderful gifts. We felt so overly blessed.

Boys Enjoying Bathtime
Some pictures of the boys enjoying their bathtime after Connor got his haircut.
Connor helping Preston get rinsed off.
Preston in the empty tub still playing with his toys.
Preston is really trying hard to learn to crawl now. Here you can see him getting into the crawling position already.

Connor practicing his racing form
Occasionally Dave lets Connor put on his bike gloves and helmet while sitting on the motorcycle. Connor now loves to get into racing position and rev up the engine. (atleast he makes the sounds). I thought he looked too cute to not get a picture of him.
Preston decided he wanted in on the motorcycle action too.
