Dave had another trackday at Miller Motorsports this weekend but this time was nice because it was the first time we were able to take Abby and Jacob there to watch Dave ride. The other nice thing was that their nanny Ms. Dana and her boyfriend Mike joined us at the track to cheer Dave on. This was especially helpful to me since I normally do not get too much help from Dave when he is at a trackday because he is busy riding and dealing with his bike. The picture below is of the kids and Dave after he had finished a session on the track. It was a hot day which is why Dave is not sitting around in full leathers.

Mount Washington, New Hampshire
As a part of our wedding week, Dave and I took our kids and his parents to Mt. Washington, New Hampshire. It is the tallest mountain in New Hampshire and is really beautiful. We drove our rental car up the auto road to the mountain's summit and basically spent the time there walking around in a windy, cold cloud. You could not see 10 feet in front of you, much less the gorgeous views of the land below. But that is ok, it was my first time to walk around inside a cloud. We also were able to get some nice hot chocolate for everyone in the lodge up there. On the drive back down we stopped a couple of places to take some pictures. Then half way down, my in-laws dropped me, Dave and the kids off so that we could hike the rest of the way down. It was a gorgeous hike and the kids really seemed to enjoy the adventure through the woods. I took about 200 pictures of the kids hiking and the trail, so I will just post the top pictures from the batch.

Connor's First Trip to the Lake
Since my in-laws live in a really nice neighborhood that has a private beach on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire within walking distance of their cabin, Dave and I were able to take the kids swimming in the lake one afternoon. It was a really nice break from all the wedding planning and the kids really enjoyed their time playing in the water and in the sand. Connor LOVED swimming in the water and we spent a long time just walking around and letting him feel the water rushing over him. Since I spent most of the time in the water with the kids, I was only able to get one picture of Dave and Connor to documet Connor's first time at a lake and first time to go swimming.

Connor's First Haircut
In preparation for the wedding, Connor got his first haircut. Connor is one of the very few kids I have ever know to need a haircut the moment he is born but we resisted cutting his hair until now. But since we knew he would be meeting alot of his extended family we wanted him to look as adorable and handsome as could be. During his haircut Connor was so amazingly well behaved. He just sat in my lap and stared at Ms. Sandy while she was cutting his hair. He never cried or got upset and even was smiling most of the time. I was so proud of him. And luckily Dave was there so that he could take pictures of Connor's first haircut.
