Dad's Mini-Me

Connor wants to go anywhere Dad goes and do anything that Dad does. When Dave works on anything with a tool, Connor insists on using the same tool and working too. He now loves to use a screwdriver on everything to see if he can take it apart and put it back together. It is really cute to watch. Well last night Connor was showing us his new skill....opening doors! and kept pointing to Dad's motorcycle helmet and gloves in the closet. So we decided to let him play with them for a little while. He loves wearing the gloves and helmet and feeling like a big boy. And since it is so comical to see, we took a couple of pictures of him. He really is a funny kid.



I also took a couple of pictures of Connor watching his favorite movie....Cars. Surprise, Surprise. He now goes to the TV, opens the doors and starts asking for the movie by name. He is so funny when he watches the movie since he now knows it by heart. He will come into the kitchen to tell you "uh oh" when something bad happens during the movie like when the big crash happens on the racetrack or when Lightening McQueen falls out of his trailer onto the interstate, etc. He also will say "vroom vroom" every time there is a racing sceen on the screen. He just loves watching the cars go fast. My little boy looks like such a little man while he is sitting in the big chair. If it were not for the green blanket and bottle full of milk, I would think that he was no longer my little baby. But this is just a good reminder that he is growing up and I better enjoy all of it while I can.
