And.....we're back!!!

Well the title of our blog is once again accurate. We are living in Utah (aka...Heaven) again!!
Incase anyone is curious...this is our journey back to Utah.

In November 2012, Dave was contacted out of the blue by a recruiter looking to fill a great job back in Salt Lake City, UT. And since we never really took to Houston and were always homesick for Utah, we jumped at the chance to go back. Luckily the job was something Dave really wanted to do and it got him back into a refinery working with equipment. After the onsite interview and a few tears (from me) while trying to figure out what was best, we decided to take the job and move (again!). Dave started his job on January 7 while I stayed in Texas with the boys to let Connor progress in Kindergarten, get work done on the house and so I could finish a project at work.

FINALLY after 3 months of single parenting, working, traveling and general contracting the repairs on our house the movers showed up on April 1 and the whole family made the long drive to Utah for good.

We were fortunate enough for Dave to get a job that pays enough for me to stay home for sometime with the kids now that we are here in Utah. I am really looking forward to having some breathing room to unpack the house (for once!), get the boys settled into new schools this fall, and get a chance to just hangout with the kids and get to know them.

As you can guess we are beyond happy to be back in a place that will allow us to have the hobbies we love. Skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycle racing, hiking and much more.

Look forward to me finally picking this blog back up now that I am not working a horribly demanding job, unpacking a house, raising kids and trying to maintain some sanity all at the same time.
