Connor is Two Years Old!

I can not believe it has been two years since Connor was born. It feels like it was just yesterday and yet I can not really remember what life was like before he came into our lives. He has grown into such an active, curious, mechanically inclined, opinionated little boy. He is exactly like his father in his love of all things motorized and wanting to use Daddy's tools to work on them. He is exactly like his mother in his high activity level, mischievousness and lack of patience. You can say he got the best of both parents!

Connor loves to read and color now and is even getting good at recognizing his letter, numbers and colors. He loves to talk on the phone and is very affectionate when giving out hugs and kisses. Connor is also the neighborhood greeter. He loves to stand on the sidewalk and say "Bye Bye Car" to all cars and "Bye Bye Vroom Vroom" to all trucks and motorcycles. Because there is a big difference between a car, a truck and a motorcycle in Connor's world. He also says "HI!" while waving to every person walking near our house.

We took Connor in for his 2 year checkup at the doctor and he passed with flying colors! Physically he is ahead of what the doctor was expecting and mentally he is more than on target for a 2 year old. So we are beyond pleased with the kid. He measured to be 34inches (40th percentile) in height and 25.5 lbs (15th percentile) in weight.
